Scripture And A Snapshot

It has been a long, long time since I participated in this meme. I see many changes have taken place but still feels good to be back and using my photography to glorify God. A new year is about to start and I think this verse is quite appropriate for this time of the year when we tend to worry so much about the future. We need to trust God and his care. Trust that we will continue to look after us as he has been doing all this time. And we need to continue to listen to him and to live our lives the way he expect us to. After all isn't it just fair to give when we expect to receive so much in return?

The western red lily, known botanically as Lilium philadelphicum is our province (Saskatchewan) is our flower emblem.   It grows in moist meadows and semi-wooded areas and stands out brilliantly with its flaming red blossoms against a natural green background.  The western red lily is a protected species and therefore you are NOT allow to pick them, only to watch and enjoy them! 

Every time I look at them I can't help it but to think of this familiar passage and be reminded of God's faithfulness to me and my family looking after us EVERYDAY, no matter what!

I love this flowers growing along our dishes and I also love this reassuring verse! We have nothing to fear, God is ALWAYS with us, ALWAYS no matter what! Thank you God!

Spring has Sprung in our corner of the world!

Nothings screams SPRING!!! louder to me than the beautiful, beautiful Prairie Crocus! I think this verse go so perfect with the picture as the earth really starts to sing again every spring with the first flowers, the first sign of life again! 

Thank you God for these beautiful signs of new life, same new life you give us every spring when we remember the enormous sacrifice you did for us, to give us life a new and eternal in you! All Praise and Honor be given to you for ever and ever, Amen!

Scripture & a Snapshot - Week 80

ALL THINGS NEW . . .

We are delighted to see Spring coming so soon this year! Spring is one of my favorite seasons because everything is new again! The anticipation of seeing everything come to life again is such an amazing and strange experience but at the same time is such a joy and such a delight! How fitting also for Easter to come around this time of the year to help us remember how also Jesus makes us new through his death and resurrection! He takes our old sinful life to the cross with him and in return he gives us a brand new life in him. As I see it, he is giving us an opportunity to start all over again and make things right this time around! To leave the old behind and enjoy our new life in him and with him by our side!

THANK YOU JESUS FOR DYING IN THE CROSS FOR ME!
